Evacuation Chair Training Course

Evacuation Chair Training is essential for ensuring the safe evacuation of disabled individuals during emergencies. This hands-on course teaches users how to properly operate the chair, secure individuals, and practice evacuation techniques. It builds confidence and ensures that users can effectively assist in evacuations, safeguarding the safety of all individuals.

What to Expect During Evac Chair Training:

A typical evacuation chair training course lasts for around three hours and covers all the essential information you need to know about the evac chair and how to use it. You will be given a thorough explanation of the various parts of the chair, and how they work together to help you safely evacuate a disabled person.

You will also be shown how to correctly position a person in the chair, and how to safely secure them in place. Once you have been shown how to use the chair, you will be given the opportunity to practice using it on your own.

This will help to ensure that you are confident in your ability to use the chair correctly and that you understand all the safety procedures involved.
