Howard is the Technical Director at Ventro, and has been working in the fire industry for over 30 years. He is experienced in many practical aspects of project management, having a detailed knowledge of Health & Safety guidelines (working with our external consultants Citation) and fire safety standards. Fully qualified by BM TRADA, he provides valuable oversight and direction for the regional Health, Safety and Quality Teams on the operational side of the business.
Andy is a founding member of the NSHFSG which was established in 2011. Andy has worked in the housing sector for nearly ten years as a health and safety professional, and prior to that worked in the logistics sector. Andy is currently National Chair, having previously vice chaired the organisation and assisted with the establishment of regional networks across England and Wales. Andy sits on Working Group 8 and has attended the Competence Steering Group and various other fire safety committees. He co-wrote the NFCC Mobility Scooter guide and is the primary author of the building safety competence framework.
Scott is the Interim Strategic Asset Manager at Phoenix Community Housing in Lewisham/Bromley, focussing on co-ordination of Building Safety, Sustainability and Asset Management strategies including the associated asset data management. He has previously worked in similar roles with several different housing organisations, including Your Housing Group, Bron Afron, a Placeshaping organisation in South Wales, Asset Wise and Places for People. Scott qualified as an Environmental Health Officer in 1992 and focused on Housing enforcement and regeneration at Leicester, in South Wales, Burnley and Manchester Councils before moving to Places for People.
