Howard is the Technical Director at Ventro, and has been working in the fire industry for over 30 years. He is experienced in many practical aspects of project management, having a detailed knowledge of Health & Safety guidelines (working with our external consultants Citation) and fire safety standards. Fully qualified by BM TRADA, he provides valuable oversight and direction for the regional Health, Safety and Quality Teams on the operational side of the business.
Mark is a very experienced regulator who has performed several roles for HSE in both frontline and policy roles over the last 24 years. He currently works in HSE’s Building Safety and Construction Division leading a team looking at the operational implications around the development and assessment of safety cases. Mark’s current role sees him working closely with industry colleagues from the Early Adopters and with fellow regulators from the Joint Regulators Group. Mark joined HSE from the construction industry, having started his career as a surveyor.
Former Professional Rugby Player, Phil is now an integral part of the Ventro team. Heading a team that looks after Fire Safety in properties within the Private Sector across the UK, Phil helps deliver fire safety systems to ensure the safety of all those occupying commercial properties.
Joe is an experienced Fire Safety Consultant at Ventro. Keen on ensuring safety for residents, he has been making strides to incorporate a more consultative approach to ensuring fire safety projects leave residents and social homes providers satisfied.
Andy is a founding member of the NSHFSG which was established in 2011. Andy has worked in the housing sector for nearly ten years as a health and safety professional, and prior to that worked in the logistics sector. Andy is currently National Chair, having previously vice chaired the organisation and assisted with the establishment of regional networks across England and Wales. Andy sits on Working Group 8 and has attended the Competence Steering Group and various other fire safety committees. He co-wrote the NFCC Mobility Scooter guide and is the primary author of the building safety competence framework.
Ventro has put together a targeted series of events running throughout the year covering all aspects of fire safety across every sector to work with, share, learn from and teach our conscientious clients and to continue to drive improving standards.
In addition Ventro’s technical team provides a number of on-site and virtual CPD events that can be tailored to our customers specific requirements and provide a unique consultancy approach to support in the delivery of fire safety programmes of work.
